In February 2019, Jocelyn Joe-Strack embarked on a four-week speaking tour to Spain, Sweden, Germany and France. She was invited by the Canadian Embassies to share her perspective as an Indigenous scientist on humanity’s great Climate Change challenge. While away, Jocelyn prepared a blog of her experience for the Gordon Foundation. She contemplated the dichotomy between the Yukon and Europe in terms of our lifestyles and priorities. Through her journey, she reflected on the Yukon advantage, such as nature, community and culture and how these lessons have synergies and application for all developed places seeking societal transformation in our time of Climate Change.
