Introduction to Raspberry Pi

The Raspberry Pi is a little credit-card sized computer that you can plug into a; TV/monitor, keyboard and mouse, and that can be used in electronics projects and/or as a desktop computer.

This introductory 3 hour workshop will teach you how to set-up and get started using a Raspberry Pi. You will learn how to install and set-up the operating system, including downloading and formatting it to your SD card, and be introduced to the Linux operating system and its basic operations.

This workshop will also give you an idea of how you might use the Raspberry Pi, including possible project ideas for the Raspberry Pi Instructable Build Night!

YuKonstruct has 5 Raspberry Pi’s available for use by participants in this workshop and can accommodate 3 additional participants who bring their own Pi.
