Makers’ Market

If you’ve ever walked by Northlight and wondered what goes on in that building? this is your chance to find out!

Yukonstruct Society is hosting a Members’ Market from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on May 11. The market will take place in the main event space at Northlight – 2180 2^nd Ave.

Makespace members will be displaying items they’ve made onsite, including art, jewellery, wooden furniture and more. Cospace members will have information tables set up and be available to talk to you about what they do.

Admission is free!

Ever wanted plants that can water themselves? The future is now folks and you can learn how to set up a self watering plant system! Join us at YuKonstruct for a free demo and group build workshop to get the plants at the makerspace hooked up to this smart plant/garduino system!

Your instructor for this demo/team project will be Josh Trotter-Wanner. He’s driving back to the Yukon for the summer and is excited to dive into neat tech projects and programming at YuKonstruct.
