Join Yukonstruct’s Weekend Sewing Maker Academy for a 6 – week Bootcamp to build your sewing skills and confidence. Throughout the course, you will learn the basics of sewing from a skilled instructor, how to use a domestic sewing machine, follow and adjust patterns and troubleshoot problems. Our project-based learning model gets you comfortable with sewing while making 6 projects to take home.  

Projects:

• Lugage tag, glasses case, fabric pouch, pillow cover, or makeup/art caddy (choose two)
• Lined tote bag (with or without a zippered pouch)
• Backpack, messenger bag, or purse (choose one)
• Shirt or dress
• Jacket

The $999.00 program includes:

• 18 hours of instruction by a highly-skilled instructor
• 2 months premium Makespace membership (24-hour access)
• Access to skilled mentors to help with your project in between classes.
• All supplies to complete the 6 projects are included in the price of the program

Classes are every Saturday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm from September 10 – October 22  (No classes on Oct. 8).
