Light up your Halloween with EL wire (electroluminescent wire)! EL wire is a thin copper wire coated in a phosphor that glows when an alternating current is applied. Very flexible, it can be easily sewn into costumes or accessories by hand. Bring along your costume, or any other project you would like to embellish!
Here is an example of an EL wire project:
In this workshop, you’ll learn to solder, join colours and add connectors to your EL wire for attaching to an inverter. All workshop materials are provided, including 10 feet of EL wire in 1 or 2 colours, splitter and small battery powered inverter (with microphone!) that will light up to 15 feet of EL wire.
