3D Design for Makers: Furniture, 3D-Prints, Boats and so much more!

Get your solid start using Autodesk Fusion 360: the first 3D computer aided drawing (CAD), manufacturing (CAM), and engineering (CAE) tool of its kind.

This 3-hour workshop will teach participants the skills to start working with the software. You will learn:

  • Basic modelling for anything from simpler objects like furniture to more advanced projects like boats.
  • General understanding of the workflow to get from a drawing to a cut list for the woodshop, a toolpath for the CNC router, and a 3D file for the 3D printer.

This course will help you get practical knowledge that you can immediately apply to your current projects.

About the instructor: David is a multi-skilled wood and metal worker and talented Yukonstruct Member. He has been using Fusion 360 for several years producing detailed drawings like these:
